The Black powder shoot went well with some rain and some smoke.
We all cheered when Joe hit the steel at 150 yards with his Old Extra Long Rifle.
In all fairness, even though we had only four contestants, it would be best if we broke them down into three groups.
Those groups would be, Scopes, Peep Sight, and Open Sight. The scores are as follows:

I thank God, and each person in attendance, for a safe and fun shoot at the clubs new 400 yd. range.
We shot 3 rounds at ten shots per round, the first round was a sight adjusting round.

Birge Sigety was are winner, and a generous one at that,
he returned his winnings in order to benefit the club.

We are pleased to announce that the 2019 Rifle shoot season has arrived. We applaud all nine shooters that showed up to shoot. We were pleasantly surprised by your interest, and we Thank You.
Well it may be of no surprise that Gib ( Gilbert Neal ) was our all time winner for this shoot. Out of eight shooters, two of those used open sights, and the rest used scopes.

The black flies enjoyed our presence so much, that Larry missed the target tring to avoid an attack.

Our next shoot will be a rimfire competition on July 6, 2019, at the .22 caliber range, starting at 9:00 A.M. We will be using reactive targets.

Charlie Cournoyer was the winner with a score of 105 out of a possible 120.

On Saturday August 5th the rifle committee held a High Power Rifle Competition, we had a total of 8 contestants.

You will find the scores listed below. It was good to see every bay filled at the 400 yard range, and we thank each contestant for coming out.

John Hamilton was our overall winner with a score of 178 out of a possible 200.

On Saturday July 1st the rifle committee held a rimfire competition, we had a total of 6 contestants, with 5 adults and one minor. You will find the scores listed below. It was good to see almost every bay filled at the 400 yard range, and we thank each contestant for coming out.

Progress is being made to complete the new rimfire range and the reactive targets have been assembled and are ready to be installed.

I would like to remind members that we have a 400 yard rifle shoot coming up on the 5th of August. I believe this will prove to be our most challenging rifle shoot of the year.

Gilbert Neil was our overall winner with a score of 246 out of a perfect score of 300.

It was decided, the Prize for our First Place Winner would be, that his/her Entrance Fee would be Refunded.

On Saturday June 3, Big Pine Gun Club held a Carbine Competition, with 3 people participating. A rainy morning turned into a nice day for shooting, and the black flies were kept at bay, for the most part. Find scores below.

These are the latest results of the Rifle Competition.

Best score was Chet Guilford with a 245 out of 300.

Our overall winner was David Hall with a score of 221 of a possible 300.
